We’re based in Harpenden and St Albans, Hertfordshire. We can offer remote appointments, or for a more personal face-to-face experience, Sarah can meet you at her office. Within reason, she’s also happy to travel to an address that’s convenient for you. We will always ensure we adhere to the most up-to-date government guidelines regarding social distancing.

We work with Platinum, Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold, Titanium and occasionally Silver. With the exception of Titanium, all the metals used in our workshop are recycled. We can also source Fair Trade metals and ethically-sourced stones on request.
-
Our prices vary depending on your choice of design and the metal and stones used. There are no limits. If you can dream it, we can conceive it.
The majority of our bespoke pieces cost between £500 and £20,000, with the average cost of a bespoke engagement ring being around £2,000.
We work to your budget to ensure we create a piece that fits your means and desires. We’re happy to make suggestions regarding metals/stones that best fit your budget.

This ‘get-to-know-you’ session is all about inspiration! You’re welcome to bring pictures, a Pinterest board or other items to share. Sarah revels in mood boards and hearing your ideas.
If you’re remodelling or up-cycling an heirloom, old gemstones or vintage jewellery, Sarah would love to hear about their history. If you feel comfortable, now’s your time to reveal the stories and associations that make it sentimental to you — and any ideas you have about how you’d like to reflect these in the redesign.
Don’t worry about coming empty-handed. You’ll be amazed by the ideas Sarah’s gentle curiosity, and creativity unleashes. Favourite colours, eras and styles that appeal to you are an excellent place to start.

From start to finish, the bespoke journey usually takes from four to six weeks. The timeframe depends on the complexity of your design and the availability of the materials. In a hurry? If you need something quickly, we can usually accommodate this at a small additional cost. Please call to discuss.
-
Fear not, you are in safe hands! We’ll work with you every step of the way to ensure we design and craft a piece that’s personal, unique, and beautiful in every way.
However, if you’d rather play it safe without spoiling the surprise, why not go for a ‘proposal ring’? In this case, we source the gemstone/diamond you’d like to use in the final design and set it into a simple silver mount. Once you’ve popped the question and secured the all-important ‘yes’, your fiancé(e) can join in the design process.
-
We’re asked this question every day, so please don’t worry. We have lots of successful experience in ‘guestimating’ sizes. Photographs of your partner or a ring that they wear on any other finger can be useful. Should the ring need a little adjustment after the proposal, it can be resized.
